Due to the recent economic growth of Myanmar, an increase in demand for flights this region is anticipated. To promote sustainable economic growth as well as to create a more efficient society, flight procedure design systems "PANADES®" is used as one of the systems which provide a safe and secure environment.
The purpose of the PANADES system is to design aircraft flight procedures based on international standards. There are numerous factors that need to be considered in designing flight procedures including aircraft performance, landforms, artificial obstacles and weather conditions for each segment of design. On top of these factors, it is also essential to then accurately and faultlessly conduct intricate calculations, such as complex geometric computations or the calculation of various parameters according to the characteristics of a given aircraft category. PANADES has the capability to automatically process many of the complicated calculations required to design flight procedures, and as well as being able to automatically create flight areas by entering a minimum of parameters. This reduces the time required to design flight procedures and enhances safety by ensuring the quality and reliability of design output.

NTT DATA Myanmar is supporting system maintenance service for "PANADES" in cooperation with NTT DATA Headquarter.
In addition, NTT DATA plans to work with group companies in South-East Asian countries and other regions to expand adoption of the PANADES system, and propose solutions for safe air traffic control.
